My GF and I would trying going on the same diet and she would drop the weight and I wouldnt, or vice versa. The researchers wanted to raise his cholesterol, blood pressure, etc. All that was measured. They planned to do it by feeding him nothing but fat and protein for some period of time. I forget, it may have been 2 weeks or six weeks, but anyway, he ate eggs (6 eggs a day) at every meal, and meat, and at the end of it he had lost weight (he was already really thin) and his cholesterol and blood pressure were lower (it had been normal).
