Encounters of the normal kind

Just every once in a while one small slave gets busted at work. It doesn't seem to happen as often as it used to, maybe the local community has moved on, but it still happens. This time it was from an unexpected quarter; a rep. One of those strange breeds of reps, one with a job.

In this state, although the recession that no one talks about didn't hit as hard as some, reps are a dying breed. As companies try to stay afloat by cutting costs their front lines are often the first to go. These days products turn up on the shelves with no support other than a slick advertising campaign and many don't even have that. It leaves us completely in the dark about their properties and often with no idea they were even coming. But that is not what this is about. This is about one of the few survivors...

The first time we met his eyes lit up with merry delight and he said nice necklace. The second time it was how are you, asked while staring at the necklace... which was an odd sensation as most men look a little lower. The third time was over coffee as one was sent out to haggle on the behalf of the boss.
Now this man is bright and charming and has the instincts of a shark... it's why he's still employed. Needless to say he struck...

So he said by way of preamble, after the social niceties were performed, the collar. How do you get away with that?
Well no one takes any notice. If anything they usually comment on what a nice necklace it is and assume one likes chunky jewellery.
You're kidding?
No. Honestly if you want to hide in this world, in plain sight is the best place to be.

We carried on with work related chit chat and the person who had the job before came up. Now she was a strange person, stranger still when around one's good self. Bringing out the strange in people does seem to be a talent one bemoaned in jest.
Maybe they sense that you aren't too normal he quipped
Oh one is the most normal person you could hope to meet
His eyebrow quirked up to his nonexistent hairline
Well one is perfectly normal, just maybe not to the outside observer.

Sighs in fact one only feels abnormal when encountering other people... maybe we have been doing this too long.

Inertia

You know there is nothing note worthy to write about when you sit in front of the computer and think did anything actually happen today and there is nothing that comes to mind at all. It's that time of the year. The heat and humidity are escalating and we both sleep poorly, waking up feeling and looking rumpled. Even work is dead as we gear up to one of the last long weekends for a while.
Basically we are hanging in by our fingernails for holidays...
Two weeks and counting.

Rain...

Though desperately needed, is not so attractive when you are stuck catching buses in it.
Just saying...

Spoke too soon

Scampering into work juggling coffee, along with bottles of water, the bag that is needed to hold the assorted meals for the day and an ordinary... read oversized... handbag stuffed full of everything else, one took a moment to read the notice board while snarfing on a post breakfast snack.
You know as a casual observation may one just take a moment to point out that only one set of hands was a major design flaw?
Scanning through the piles of paperwork stuck there with an assortment of pins, one noticed that one of the big vitamin companies was conducting training. Guess when?
Yes that's right; during our upcoming holidays. And some wonderful person has put one's name on the list to attend.

Just as one was cursing that person under the breath another notice was slapped up next to it from another major company. More training... on the second week of the holidays
Shit! Shit! Shit!
Oh Master....
About that holiday of sloth we had planned...
At least it's not in Ipswich :D

One overly warm summer's evening

Hot cum shot out splashing onto warm breasts before sliding off to pool in the crook of an arm.
The sound of whining filled the air...
Dammit! One of us was clean!

Chance would be a fine thing

This blog was started as a way of having conversations with Him. Due to the nature of our life we don't always have time to sit down and discuss the minutiae of our lives. It also showed how one perceived Him, his actions and some of the conversations. Apparently it doesn't always show Him in a favourable light. Of course it doesn't... it is after all one's perceptions. We all have special filters that things get viewed through. Anyway that is not what this is about.

What it also showed over time is how bloody normal our lives are. Often on forums you get newbies asking questions like do you still go out on dates, see movies or laugh with each other? Mind you some of those people also think that we are kept in cages 24/7 otherwise we are not twoo slaves. Well as some of you may have noticed we don't spend a lot of time with one of us being stuck in a cage.  It's a shame really as one suspects there would be a lot less mess around here if one was. There would certainly be a lot less laundry.

That brings us to the day's doings. It was mostly spent folding almost obscene amounts of laundry. Between sports gear, clothes and bedding; His bedding, one small slave's bedding and the beds actual bedding... staggers under the vast quantity of laundry baskets
Would someone wheel out the cage?
Please?
