He likes new games and he likes to get them before they have reached this part of the world... which can be years after they were released overseas... so to that end he can't resist a Kickstarter event for board games. We have a wall of games as testament to His inability to resist :)

Most of the time one peeks in at the pages on the computer, with a mild sense of resignation to whatever is about to land on our doorstep. Not this time.

This time it was more oh hell, He didn't, did he? See one had no idea there were other places that did different types of games. And what little horror has produced this feeling of impending doom...

Punishment detail

The work colleague bought one small slave a gift back from her cruise. It feels like the beginnings of a chest infection. She came back to work touched stuff, took a turn for the worse and went home for the rest of the week. Leaving one to clean up in her wake and be stuck in cosmetics for the rest of the week dealing with wanty needy women.

Since most of the high end department stores have taken to running on skeleton crews in an effort to stay afloat in the shift to online shopping, many of their customers have taken to visiting us to get their fix of attention. They will spend inordinate amounts of time humming and haring over simple choices like which pink blush to buy. The whole thing is like herding cats...

This is why one doesn't like being hugged... no good ever comes of it :(

The colour purple

A friend, and one does use that term loosely after this incident, sent Him a link to all things purple. That's right, some person set up a store simply named The Purple Store

It is a store that contains all manner of things, all coloured...

You guessed it; purple.

Now generally one thinks that any long term couple shape, mould and tweak their partner. It's done quite subconsciously as a rule. In O/p M/s relationships it is quite often more overt and deliberate. It's one of those ideas that make outsiders extremely uncomfortable as a rule. 

But the whole purple thing is funny. Its light hearted and it makes them overlook that a favourite colour is a fundamental thing.  Oh it might change with time, but most people have a firm favourite...

For the record it's red dammit!

So rather than be appalled, many of our friends become His co-conspirators :(

He amused himself for some time calling out suggestions; how about a new bathrobe? It was however when He moved on to the idea of replacing the coffee mugs with ones marked I <3 purple to reinforce the idea on a daily basis that got a bite...

This could be bad...

In about ten days it will be Mother's Day here. Now normally we get His mother... that is to say one small slave gets and he pays... very traditional MD type presents; things like pretty pyjamas, perfume or jewellery. The problem is that she now has an elegant sufficiency of those items. Subsequently one small slave is at something of a loss.

And to be honest ThinkGeek's helpful hints aren't offering much in the way of help. Try though one may one can't imagine her getting a lot of joy out a set of "radioactive elements glowing coasters". On the other hand we would enjoy the hell out of them...

Living in fear

In the past one has mentioned that Australia is not the safest of places if you are a tourist. The thing is that it's not very safe if you are a local. Hell it's not very safe if you are one of the dangerous animals either.
