Step one; pull out the white quilts for their annual airing
and refolding
Step two; discover mysterious brown stains on them (most
likely rust stains from iron oxide particles in the water, which was used to
remove the chalk marks when they were made)
Step three; liberally apply lemon juice and salt
Step four; rub in gently until the finger tips have a myriad
of small scratches
Step five; repeat step four a few hours later
Step six; know that it will have to be done tomorrow with
the other quilt and that there is another one on a roll that needs to be
checked
Sighs really one does wonder why one keeps Him...
