Trying to salvage some vestige of our interrupted day off by
going out to dinner afterwards, we drove to our favourite hamburger place with dancing
thoughts of rich meats topped with cheese and bacon.
Valiantly we fought our way through the beginnings of peak
hour traffic and an electrical storm to get there.
We found a park nearby and scampered through the rain to
arrive at their door...
To find them closed due to a fire yesterday afternoon.
The fucking universe hates us.
And for the record cold fish, in the form of sushi, just
doesn't cut it when the tastebuds are all set for meat and grease with a side
of crispy, chunky fries.
