Did you see the games I got today He asked
Oh, did you get games?
I left them out for you to see He said, sounding slightly aggrieved
You know this may come as a surprise, but there are so many
games that one can't tell the new from the old. Now, one does realise that
implies less fascination and involvement in your latest obsession hobby...
Yes, yes it does He interjected
... than would be polite, but life is short
He glared in one's direction for a brief minute before
launching into a synopsis of one of them...
And the original of this was in German...
A large portion of games come out of Germany and there are
often no translated versions or they take a very long time to come out. A
section of the gaming community learns the basics of the language so they don't
have to wait...
And you thought those geeks learning Klingon were sad little
shut ins.
This is the later version of the game He carried on. It was
a very limited run as it's all made out of recycled materials. Of course it's
in the original Japanese, but I have the translation here...
It's actually rather beautiful. We aren't going to play that
are we? It seems like such a shame... rather akin to using a fine oil painting
as a placemat.
Of course we are going to play it He said, looking somewhat
scandalised at the notion of not playing a game.
Sighs guess we are not quite at the stage of the game equivalency
of toys collectable figurines... yet :/

It could be worse... I'm not sure how, but probably it could be.
