Our vanillas have invited us over for New Years Eve to play

an excuse to drink... it's worth a try at any rate. The seconds ticked by as
one happily contemplated the idea of games lubricated with alcohol before

I would think this gives the perfect opportunity to show ones devotion? Isn't it through trials that one shows one's character?

We are staying home for New Year's eve because Master has to work, but the brunch we are attending on the first day of the year is with pretty much all gamers. I expect there will be all sorts of games, and I'm hoping they will be kinds I like.
